2024 Sierra HD Engine Options
Gord Anderson GM customers taking either 2024 Sierra HD version home will have two engine options to choose from. The primary engine option is a naturally aspirated 6.6-litre V-8 engine making 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. A turbocharged 6.6-litre V-8 diesel engine is also available, producing 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque.
Both engines will be attached to a 10-speed automatic Allison transmission.
Max Towing Capacity
Heavy-duty trucks are built for towing. Few, if any, do it better than the 2024 Sierra HD lineup. Buyers choosing the 2500 model will have a maximum of 10,010 kg, and those taking the 3500 home can pull up to 16,329 kg.
